A lovely picture of Tower Bridge. This handcrafted ceramic tile is painted by highly skilled artists. Firstly a unique three dimensional outline is created, then different colours are applied, followed by layers of glazing to enrich the textures and colours. The tiles are then fired in an oven for 24 hours at temperatures reaching 1000 degrees celsius. This ensures that the vibrant colours will never dull or fade. A black cloth covered board or a cork backing is then applied to finish the tile and a recessed hanging hole is provided to enable the tile to be hung as a wall feature. It can also be framed, be used for installation projects such as kitchens, bathrooms or other walls. The tiles are a standard thickness of 6-7mm, so will match most plain tiles of any size. The tile backing can easily be removed by soaking in warm water for 20 minutes to soften the glue. They are also perfect for various arts and crafts, such as framed wall hangings, trivets, tabletops or anything else you have in mind.
