These are miniatures From The American Country Store miniatures collection by the Franklin Mint. From the mid '80s (started 1984), Franklin Mint developed this collection of miniatures and a customized three-dimensional store in which to display them. They are amazingly detailed and the number of pieces in this collection is unbelievable! It was offered on a membership basis whereby you subscribed to their club and received a shipment of collectible miniatures each month for the next 24 months until your collection was complete. The cost of the collection was $29.50 per month plus shipping, adding up to a total of $708.00 plus shipping. There are many pieces including four beautiful wooden display shelves a beautiful metal cash register, Dr Pepper crates with glass bottles, and even a pickle barrel with a checkerboard on top. Some pieces are wood, some metal, some glass. The pieces would also be fantastic for crafting if you didn't want to display them in a store setting.
